Son múltiples los beneficios que se obtienen al practicar un deporte y es importante integrar esto a una buena alimentación, para que se establezca un equilibrio. Esto puede contribuir a que se contrarresten enfermedades crónicas, al alivio de la ansiedad, a la vez que se alcanza un bienestar físico y mental definitivo.

Además, es esencial para el crecimiento y desarrollo de niños y adolescentes. También, mantiene a las personas alejadas de malos hábitos y vicios nocivos. Realizar deportes es sinónimo de buena salud. A continuación, se mencionarán algunos beneficios de practicar una actividad física.

Para empezar, un estudio realizado en la Universidad Autónoma de Manizales sostuvo que la realización de cualquier tipo de deporte o actividad física es una técnica eficaz y efectiva en el ascenso de la salud, siempre y cuando se incluya el mejoramiento de los aspectos psicológicos en el ser humano y no sólo la optimización del cuerpo físico.

De esta manera entonces, se procede a conocer los beneficios más resaltantes de la práctica de deportes. Estos son los siguientes:

Cero estrés

Relajarse en el sexo del estrés.

Es lo más recomendado luego de un largo día de trabajo que produjo tensiones en los músculos. Éste ayudará a disminuir esa rigidez y molestia. Asimismo, al practicar un deporte de manera regular, los niveles de adrenalina en el organismo aumentan.

Esta sustancia es un químico con la capacidad de enviar señales al cerebro para que la respuesta frente al estrés sea positiva. Por ello, es aconsejable incluir un deporte en la rutina diaria y así eliminar el estrés.

Mejor aspecto físico

Si se mantiene una rutina de ejercicios adecuada o la práctica de algún deporte por un tiempo prolongado, el cuerpo se mantendrá en forma y el aspecto físico de las personas será más saludable.

Se debe tener en cuenta que, al practicar un deporte cotidiano, también se debe mantener una buena dieta alimenticia. Cuando aumenta la actividad física, el cuerpo requiere de más nutrientes, vitaminas y minerales.

Mantener el cuerpo en forma no solo significa que el cuerpo se vea bien de manera externa, el organismo también debe estar sano. Por ello, es esencial aprovechar al máximo los beneficios que se obtienen.

Seguridad en tí mismo

Realizar deportes aumenta la seguridad en las personas y las ayuda a tener un mejor autoestima. Esto quiere decir que las personas se dan cuenta de que pueden sentirse mejor, y por consiguiente, se ven de una manera diferente a sí mismos.

De modo que, la seguridad que ofrece puede ayudar en el desempeño diario de las actividades. El autoestima, a la vez, evita que se caiga en otras facetas, como la depresión, y ésta se puede combatir.

Relación con la naturaleza

Realizar cualquier actividad que implique estar en contacto con la naturaleza, en donde se pueda respirar aire fresco, ayuda a relajar de manera significativa.

Son variados los deportes que se pueden realizar en la naturaleza, por ejemplo: el fútbol, escalada, piragüismo o canotaje y caminatas, por nombrar algunos.

Además de ayudar a liberar estrés y aumentar el autoestima, también favorece en la absorción de vitamina D. Al estar expuesta al sol por largos periodos, la piel se alimenta de ésta.

Es importante recordar que los mejores momentos para tomar el sol o realizar cualquier deporte, son las horas tempranas de la mañana y las últimas de la tarde.

Ayudará a dormir mejor

Dormir poco provoca no descansar, afeectando a la salud y rendimiento.

Practicar un deporte, sin duda, ayudará a conciliar el sueño por las noches. Después de agotar todas las energías durante una sesión de deporte, el cuerpo necesita recuperarlas.

Así, se podrá dormir de una manera rápida con tan solo acostarnos. Además, el transcurso del sueño será mucho más descansado. Para lograrlo con más exactitud, es recomendable hacer un deporte que exija mucha intensidad y esfuerzo.

De acuerdo a un estudio que se llevó a cabo en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, los trastornos del sueño son una patología clínica muy común, pero que al adquirir hábitos saludables, resultará beneficioso para mejorar la calidad de sueño.

 Control de adicciones

Mientras que se mantienen actividades físicas, el organismo libera una sustancia llamada dopamina. Ésta se involucra en las respuestas del cerebro frente a las situaciones placenteras.

Muchas personas optan por elegir el consumo a algunos tipos de sustancias, y éstas pueden afectar la salud y vida. Sin embargo, al realizar un deporte se produce dopamina, la cual ofrece la misma sensación de placer.

Así pues, con sesiones pequeñas de algunos deportes, la mente se distrae y ayuda a mantener al margen las adicciones y los problemas de cualquier índole.

En conclusión, incluir deportes y entrenamientos a las actividades cotidianas ayudará a darle una mejor calidad de vida de manera física y mental a las personas.
